All on Four
Thinking about getting All-on-4? We can help!
If you are suffering from advanced dental disease or annoyingly loose dentures, this procedure can offer an immediate, long-lasting and cost-effective solution.
This procedure avoids sinus elevation and bone grafting unlike traditional full mouth reconstructions and can be completed within a few days. This is due to the angle of the two posterior implants, in that they are positioned where there is more bone.
If you require more than 4 implants, then we would recommend our DaVinci+ range of implants.
Consultation and planning
During your first consultation with us, the dentist will thoroughly assess your situation and will then advise on whether All-on-4 will suit your particular case. There will be a series of examinations through x-ray, photography and 3D imaging to ascertain what is required for you. An impression of your gums and teeth is then taken. The impression is sent to our dental laboratory where they will construct your new smile specifically for you, and when it is finished you will be able to come back to have it inserted.
Step 1: Implant Surgery
Generally, this will be performed under IV sedation. Any teeth that are failing are removed first, and then the jaw bone is prepped for the insertion of the implants. The duration of this procedure ranges from 2-4 hours depending on the patient.
Step 2: Try-in of new teeth
A set of wax teeth that were designed during the planning phase are fitted onto your implants, where you will then test how they feel in your mouth. Final feedback and adjustments are recorded, and then the dental lab is instructed to construct the final porcelain model once you’re happy with the design.
Step 3: Getting your new smile
The new porcelain bridge is fitted, inserted and then attached to your 4 dental implants. The teeth are designed in such a way that you can immediately begin eating and talking as normal.
